Greetings from a zany Singapore guy! What you are going to see in my blog are my whinings, comments, complaints and thoughts, but no "Singlish" (Singapore’s brand of "localised English") and compulsory daily updates (that is, I will only update when I have got things to write about). So who should read my blog? Just anyone who wish to know me!

Another Clip From "Manh Le Quan"
This is another clip from "Manh Le Quan" (Legend of Meng Lijun), but from a much newer remake by pretty pop singer Phi Nhung. Listen to the songs; there were more familiar tunes!
One thing I like about these shows are that they follow very closely to the original folktales. Hence even if you don't understand Vietnamese, you can follow the show because the scenes are so familiar. It's unlike some remakes of periodic drama serials whereby the entire plot is twisted beyond recognition. If you look at the "Phan Le Hue" (Fan Lihua) series, you'll realise that how similiar it is to our Chinese opera version (except that Fan Lihua only capture Xue Dingshan once instead of thrice.. heh...)
Anyway I'm suprised that you actually can accept those costumes and hair pieces. I thought they might be a bit too "street" for you (even for me too.. hee...)
